Cedric Greenwood

Founder & CEO

Cedric is a law graduate and holds a post-graduate management development qualification from the University of Witwatersrand.
He is a former Barclays and Standard Bank manager in the structured finance divisions.
Cedric focuses on the deal origination and structuring of debt-related transactions for the bespoke debt solutions to various companies requiring structured debt solutions (from R1 million to R20 million capacity).
Cedric enjoys relationships with several of South Africa’s leading banks and Asset Managers.
He also has experience in commercial, industrial, and retail property funding transactions through his association with Rawson Auctions.

Executive Member

Kevin holds a BSc in Building Management degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (Durban Campus).
Kevin has 28 years of experience in the property finance arena covering private equity, secured mezzanine and senior debt property finance in both the private and investment banking sector, as well as property development and property investment.
Before moving into the private sector in 2007, Kevin held various senior property finance roles at BoE Corporate, FNB Corporate/RMB Property Finance, and Barclays South Africa.
He was Head of Property Finance for Barclays Bank Dubai and the UAE/Gulf region.
Kevin returned to South Africa in 2007, taking up the position of Managing Director at M Capital, a leading mezzanine finance provider for South African property developers.
Kevin currently manages his private equity book and, with Lilac Moon, focuses primarily on more significant property-related transactions.

Executive Member

BCOM Economics and Commercial Law degree from the University of Witwatersrand.
Held several posts within the banking sector, including Group Treasurer of SBM Group and COO of Investec Bank of Mauritius.
Led key initiatives in areas of risk and governance.
Advised key investment funds globally.
Based in Mauritius for a second time since Oct 2017.
Involved with a number of key players within the financial markets operating out of the jurisdiction.
Eclectic mix of experience across different sectors.
Proven ability to help companies solve problems around executing on their strategies.
Strong focus on risk management.

Financial Analyst

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town and is a qualified CFA charter holder.
Strong background in sell-side corporate advisory, with transaction experience from origination to closing.
With a strong focus in real estate, he has led equity capital raises for residential projects and structured bankable solutions for commercial property portfolios.
Working as a lead analyst on debt and equity deals, Chris has developed financial models and investment memorandums for sell-side clients.

Deal Administration & Compliance

Yvonne brings over 15 years of financial and legal banking experience with a strong foundation in corporate compliance.
Currently Yvonne serves as a Company Secretarial and Compliance Manager at Lilac Moon Finance, where she plays a key role in the ensuring that all regulatory filings, record-keeping, and governance requirements are met accurately and efficiently to facilitate the seamless execution of transactions.
